The Holmes Medical Museum
The Holmes Hospital was Foley’s first and operated from 1936 – 1958 but instead of tearing it down the hospital remained in mothballs for years until they re-opened it as a museum.
This is great place to visit. It is located on the South West corner of routes 98 and 59 in Foley. The hospital remains intact with all the equipment they originally used during those times.
While you are there step next door and have a Sundae at Stacey’s Rexall drug soda fountain next store and the Foley train museum across the street.
